Synopsis:

Celebrating British country life circa 1950s, Born and Bred is the much revered TV series created by Chris Chibnall and Nigel McCrery. Exploring the story of a close-knit family and the many unique characters that exist in Ormston, Born and Bred is an endearing study of village lifestyle.
SERIES 1: Dr Arthur Gilder (James Bolam) persuades his son Tom Michael French) to follow in his footsteps and together they work at the iconic cottage hospital in sleepy Ormston.
SERIES 2: Tom sets out to find the parents of an abandoned six year-old deaf girl whilst wife Deborah not only deals with the unwelcome arrival of her mother but faces the prospects of arranging a wedding for her in Ormston.
SERIES 3: Phyllis is stunned when her absent husband reappears after six long years. Len and Linda are anxious about becoming foster parents.
SERIES 4: Deborah and locum doctor Donald (Richard Wilson) set up a blood bank at the hospital to ensure there is ready supply for emergencies.

Tom's wife Deborah (Jenna Russell) is chairman of the Parish Council and with an ever-engaging population, including hospital nurse Linda Cosgrove (Tracey Childs), her policeman husband Len (Peter Gunn), publican Phyllis Woolf (Maggie Steed) and Reverend Brewer (Clive Swift) there's never a dull moment to be had.
SERIES 2: Tom sets out to find the parents of an abandoned six year-old deaf girl whilst wife Deborah not only deals with the unwelcome arrival of her mother but faces the prospects of arranging a wedding for her in Ormston.
