Synopsis:
Celebrating British country life circa 1950s, Born and Bred is the much revered TV series created by Chris Chibnall and Nigel McCrery. Exploring the story of a close-knit family and the many unique characters that exist in Ormston, Born and Bred is an endearing study of village lifestyle.
SERIES 1: Dr Arthur Gilder (James Bolam) persuades his son Tom Michael French) to follow in his footsteps and together they work at the iconic cottage hospital in sleepy Ormston.
SERIES 2: Tom sets out to find the parents of an abandoned six year-old deaf girl whilst wife Deborah not only deals with the unwelcome arrival of her mother but faces the prospects of arranging a wedding for her in Ormston.
SERIES 3: Phyllis is stunned when her absent husband reappears after six long years. Len and Linda are anxious about becoming foster parents.
SERIES 4: Deborah and locum doctor Donald (Richard Wilson) set up a blood bank at the hospital to ensure there is ready supply for emergencies.

SERIES 2: Tom sets out to find the parents of an abandoned six year-old deaf girl whilst wife Deborah not only deals with the unwelcome arrival of her mother but faces the prospects of arranging a wedding for her in Ormston.

A 1950s set, British drama series about life in the fictional Lancashire village of Ormston. The main focus of the series was the two doctors, father and son, who run the cottage hospital under the new National Health Service.
