This monumental collection gathers almost all the preserved films of Georges Méliès, from the first, "Part de cartes" (1896), to the last, "Le voyage de la famille Bourrichon" (1913). 173 films in total!!! For the first time, we can appreciate the importance of his work: that of a magician and an artist with unlimited imagination, the genius of invention and enchantment. Méliès has produced and produced all his films, but he also wrote "boniments", designed the sets, costumes and accessories, and was also the first interpreter. After 25 years of searching and collecting copies around the world, this box is a reference edition. Aslo, contains the film "Le grand Méliès", a biography of the pioneer film director Georges Méliès, featuring his son André playing Georges, and with shots of his second wife, aged 90.
