Synopsis:

Real life mermaids, Sirena, Nixie and Lyla are part of a mermaid pod, which lives in the waters of Mako Island. As young members of the pod, it is their job to protect the Moon Pool and guard it from trespasses. But on the night of a full moon, the mischievous mermaids neglect their duties. Sixteen-year-old land dweller Zac (Chai Romruen) enters the Moon Pool and forms a special connection with Mako Island. Zac is given a fish like tail and amazing powers. The Mermaid pod is forced to leave Mako. Lyla (Lucy Fry), Nixie (Ivy Latimer) and Sirena (Amy Ruffle) are left behind, cast out of the pod. The young mermaids know there is only one way they will be allowed to rejoin their pod. They must get legs, venture onto land, and take back Zac's powers or risk being outcasts forever.

During a trip to Mako Island, Zac gets in touch with the water of the magic Moon Pool in a night of full Moon, gaining a merman tail and the power to manipulate water. Sirena, Nixie and Lyla, three mermaids who guard Mako Island, are sent to mainland by their fellow mermaids to deprive Zac of his powers, otherwise they will be forever banned from the island.

It's a full moon and the three mermaids Nixie, Lyla and Sirena are tasked to guard Mako and the moon pool. While Zac and Cam go camping on Mako island. When Zac falls into the moon pool they don't know what to do and leave him on the beach. The next day Zac finds out what he is and what he can do so he tells Cam. Because the girls let the 'land boy' as they call him in the moon pool they are being cast out by their pod. So they decide to fix the problem.

Sirena, Lyla and Nixie must turn Zac back into a land boy. Using Sirena's Moon Ring, they give themselves legs and walk on land to begin their task.

When she can't dry her tail, Nixie and Sirena must save her before she is discovered!
