Synopsis:
A bride leaves her groom at the altar, letting a chance occurrence shape her life in this Dutch drama. Kamilla (Trine Dyrholm) is engaged to marry her boyfriend, Henrik (Ulrich Thomsen), but as their wedding day approaches, she becomes more and more hesitant about the idea of tying the knot. Kamilla shows up for the ceremony in Las Vegas, but before she and Henrik can exchange "I Do"'s, she decides to call it off and ends up hitching a ride to parts unknown with Rock (Gareth Williams), a stranger with a motorcycle. Kamilla rides with Rock as far as California, but after an argument she decides to strike out on her own, only to catch a ride with a psychopathic circus clown. Rock catches up with Kamilla just in time and comes to the rescue, and she decides to join him for a trip to Seattle, trying to learn more about his radical social and political views which lead her into an unexpected position of danger. P. O. V. -- Point of View was directed by Tomas Gislason, who has frequently worked with Lars von Trier and here clearly shows the influence of the Dogma 95 school of filmmaking.
