Movie filmed in 2005 and produced in:
Guinea ( Africa, Middle East )

Directed By:
Sana Na N'Hada

Synopsis:
In Guinea-Bissau there are more than 20 ethnic groups with sometimes completely different traditions and languages. Capital of the country since 1942, Bissau today contains four hundred and fifty thousand souls, or about a third of the Guinean population, immigrants from neighboring countries as well. Bissau is bubbling with a profusion of ideas, diverse artistic expressions, she is full of life. The whole range of the country's cultural mosaic is represented. Bissau is today the crucible of the Guinean nation in the making. By force of circumstances, Bissau has become a cosmopolitan city, a city where almost all religions and sects of the planet intersect and flourish, and of course, vices too. The pain of living is so deep in Bissau, that newcomers have a hard time understanding how the inhabitants of this city can survive. But the Bissaois are very resourceful.
