Synopsis:

The debut season of the drama series "Rectify" focuses on the efforts of Daniel Holden (Aden Young), a convict who spent 19 years on death row, to reindoctrinate himself into society and reacquaint himself with his family in a small Georgia town after DNA testing overturns the verdict in his murder trial. His efforts to make a new life are complicated by the politician (Michael O'Neill) who was instrumental in putting him behind bars, who makes it his business to see that Daniel gets sent back to jail.

After 19 years in prison for the rape and murder of his girlfriend, Daniel Holden (Aden Young) is released due to DNA evidence. His return home brings new challenges including new family members and a divided community.

Daniel Holden must put his life back together after serving 19 years on Georgia's Death Row before DNA evidence calls his conviction into question.
