Synopsis:

Ricardo Rangel, Mozambican journalist and photographer, now 80, is one of the living symbols of the generation which, in the 1940s and early 1950s, led the city of Lourenço Marques, the first demonstrations and denunciations against the colonial situation. In his photographs, the bondage relationship to the work is always present: the young shepherd marked on the head as if it were cattle, the negro porters on the quays or even crossing the rue des blancs.
