Synopsis:

We follow them through marking moments of their lives, slowly becoming of age. Thermidor: As every year, Vicky goes to mass to the memory of Louis XVI. This time, he is accompanied by Ingrid. He has thirty years more than her, but Ingrid seems under the charm of this character. Revolutionary, rocker, prophet of the apocalypse of the West, he claims the return of the values of the chivalry. For Vicky, a princess as Ingrid must be courted according to the rules of the courtly love, but the third millennium leaves little room for the dreams of a knight. Orléans: In Orleans, two young women are caught up in the festivities of the Joan of Arc celebrations. Andorra: A shopping mall in the middle of mountains, pyramids of goods, a glass tower dedicated to body care, Andorra makes dazzling promises of modern happiness. But when the night comes, streets fall again into silence and Andorra shine only for itself. Mercuriales: In a Parisian suburb of Bagnolet two receptionists who work in the lobby of the titular high-rise drift from one enigmatic situation to the next going to the pool, visiting a maze-like sex club and hunting for new employment. Vega: In the middle of the night, in an anonymous street in a parisian suburb, an old woman roams. Her only company is her own voice: her memories, her impressions, her lunacy. Iron Maiden: Sometime after the fall of the Soviet empire, three stories about sex, violence, and boredom. Karine: An experiment in fiction and documentaries about the life of three young people in the Parisian suburbs.
