Synopsis:

Howards' Way was the BBC's answer to the wave of glamorous dramas coming out of the States in the Eighties like Dallas and Dynasty. With a backdrop of a booming boatyard, and characters drawn from the business and yachting set of the fictional south-coast town of Tarrant, this is Thatcher-era TV at its finest: aspirational, entrepeneurial and full of conspicuous consumption.
