Synopsis:
Hungarian folk tales were majestically brought to life by animation master Marcell Jankovics, Oscar nominee in 1974 for Sisyphus and Palme d'Or winner at Cannes in 1977 for Struggle. These tales reflect the richness of Hungarian legends and their imagination. In this world where the imagination of childhood defies the limits of the possible, miracles occur when the youngest son of a king falls under the spell of a little kitten (Meow, the princess) or when a girl falls transforms into a doe and tries to save his sister (Cerouska). We also discover the adventures of a little boy who no longer dares to return home after losing his father's cows (Denis, the nut) or those of a shrewd young prince who hides inside. a golden calf to find his beloved (The golden calf). And again, a poor wolf who is so deceived by a sheep, a pig and a horse that he no longer wants to laugh (Le loup qui rit)… The three versions, French, English and Hungarian, are ideal for learning the language.
