Synopsis:
Kurt & Courtney: A documentary on the life of Kurt Cobain and his relationship with Courtney Love. Biggie and Tupac: Documentary on the deaths of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls and the East Coast/West Coast, hip-hop/rap rivalry that culminated in late 1996 and early 1997. Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer: 1992, Florida, USA. Aileen Wuornos is claimed to be the world's first female serial killer. Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer: Nick Broomfield's second documentary about serial killer Aileen Wuornos, focusing on her mental state on death row.

Proud to Be British (1973)
A National Film School documentary in which residents of the small town of Beaconsfield reveal appallingly ingrained attitudes on such subjects as Britain's imperialistic benevolence, the natural superiority of the British race, the necessity of class and the status quo. Interviewees range over several generations, and from working to ruling class. Broomfield has eschewed all commentary and allowed the subjects to speak for themselves. The irony is blunt but effective.

Behind the Rent Strike (1979)
Set in Liverpool in 1979, this documentary follows the tenants of a housing estate as they go about their everyday lives, leading up to going on rent. We get a glimpse of the human struggle behind a national scandal.

Tattooed Tears (1979)
Focusing on a handful of incarcerated youngsters, including kids in jail for glue sniffing and B.B. gun use, the film is a raw depiction of a dehumanizing penal system that crushes the hopes and dreams of at risk teenagers.

Soldier Girls (1981)
Documentary looking at the lives of female army recruits in boot camp at Fort Gordon, following the experiences of three privates.

Chicken Ranch (1983)
Documentary which looks at the luxury legalized brothel in Nevada called the Chicken Ranch, 70 miles from Las Vegas and the lives of the prostitutes who work there.

Driving Me Crazy (1988)
This humorous documentary is as much about itself and how it got made as it is about its ostensible subject, the mounting of Andre Heller's stage musical Body and Soul in Berlin. The musical is to feature black performers and U.S. black culture.

The Leader, His Driver and the Driver's Wife (1991)
A black comedy-documentary about the right wing in South Africa, involving Nick Broomfield attempting to gain an interview with the white supremacist leader Eugene Terreblanche via his driver and the driver's wife.

Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer (1993)
Having previously protested her innocence, convicted serial killer Aileen Wuornos suddenly changed her plea to guilty. The film shows Aileen as a woman in fragile mental health, worn out by her years on death row and her lifetime experiences of abuse and violence.

Tracking Down Maggie: The Unofficial Biography of Margaret Thatcher (1994)
Tracking Down Maggie is a 1994 documentary film by Nick Broomfield about former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. What begins as a genuine attempt to get an interview with the so-called 'Iron Lady' quickly turns into a game of cat-and-mouse in the United States, with the filmmaker snubbed at every turn.

Heidi Fleiss: Hollywood Madam (1995)
Documentary about the rise and fall of Heidi Fleiss, her relationships with Ivan Nagy and Madam Alex, and the role of the police in her downfall.

Fetishes (1996)
Documentary revealing the goings-on inside Pandora's Box in Manhattan where men go and pay $175 an hour for sado-masochistic experiences.

Kurt & Courtney (1998)
Documentary profile of the rock icon Kurt Cobain and his widow Courtney Love which sets out to test the theory that Courtney Love had Cobain killed. Includes home tapes made by Cobain as a child and adolescent, home movies, and interviews with friends and family.

Biggie and Tupac (2002)
Documentary on the deaths of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls and the East Coast/West Coast, hip-hop/rap rivalry that culminated in late 1996 and early 1997.

Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer (2003)
Having previously protested her innocence, convicted serial killer Aileen Wuornos suddenly changed her plea to guilty. The film shows Aileen as a woman in fragile mental health, worn out by her years on death row and her lifetime experiences of abuse and violence.

His Big White Self (2006)
His Big White Self is a 2006 documentary film made by Nick Broomfield. It is a follow up to his 1991 film The Leader, His Driver and the Driver's Wife.

Sarah Palin: You Betcha! (2011)
Nick Broomfield goes in pursuit of Sarah Palin, interviewing her family and friends, for a decidedly unauthorized perspective on this growing force in American politics.

Titles comprise
Proud To Be British (1973)
Behind The Rent Strike (1974)
Tattooed Tears (1978)
