Synopsis:

The Pink Panther: Inspector Clouseau travels to Rome to catch a notorious jewel thief known as 'The Phantom' before he conducts his most daring heist yet--a princess' priceless diamond with one slight imperfection, known as 'The Pink Panther.' A Shot in the Dark: Inspector Jacques Clouseau investigates the murder of Mr. Benjamin Ballon's driver at a country estate. The Pink Panther Strikes Again: Charles Dreyfus, who has finally cracked over inspector Clouseau's antics, escapes from a mental institution and launches an elaborate plan to get rid of Clouseau once and for all. Revenge of the Pink Panther: To prove that he still is strong and powerful, Philippe Douvier decides to kill Clouseau. Once news of his 'death' has been announced, Clouseau tries to take advantage of it and goes undercover with Cato to find out who tried to kill him. Trail of the Pink Panther: Inspector Clouseau mysteriously disappears and a journalist attempts to uncover the mystery. New scenes are interspersed with old footage.
