Synopsis:

Placed there as a backdrop, the City of Carcassonne is nevertheless very real, with its towers and ramparts. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has suffered many attacks in nearly 2000 years. How many battles, blood, tears, struggles and resistances has the proud City known? Enough, certainly, to feed the imagination of whoever crosses his path, starting with a certain Viollet-le-Duc. The film strives to distinguish the true from the false, the part of dream and the part of reality.
