Synopsis:

In January 1981 the filmmaker, musician and network activist padeluun called for a self-produced Super 8 film to be handed in by February 24th, 1981 at the "Cafe Mitropa" in Berlin. Many young artists like Yana Yo, Ruza Spak and Hella Santarossa, Walter Gramming, Blixa Geld, Alex Hacke aka Alexander v. Borsig, Knut Hoffmeister, Peter Fischer-Piel and Christoph Döring followed his call. They made films that document their view of the front city of Berlin in a rough, direct and very personal way and reflect the lifestyle of a youth at the end of time, between "German Autumn" and the "Cold War".
