Synopsis:
Walk the Walk: The story of several trips, that of Raye, a young girl who leaves the family home for one or other European countries, that of her father, Abel, former athlete and finally that of Nellie, his wife, who does not not but travel among the micro-organisms that she studies with her microscope. At Full Speed: At La Defense's roller skating rink, Nelly and Serge work hard to become roller derby champions, go to America and join the Chicago Flyers. But how can they get the money to do this? One day, they meet Felix, a mysterious man who can help. The Wheel.

Robert Kramer's films explore forms of life, in which every kind of life involves bodies, gestures, and movements: an athletics for athletes whose struggle has life itself as its primary goal. Walking, jogging, skating or cycling is enough to produce characters who, with every exertion, carry their urge to go further. The fiction films À toute allure and Walk the Walk, as well as the two short films from the documentary series La Roue, are manifestations of this embodied philosophy that runs throughout Kramer's films. Seeing the world involves getting on the road, and getting on the road requires a sanity in which the cinema must play a role, so that filmmaking and living can truly converge.
