Synopsis:
Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder: Biographical drama based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder of her life in
19th century South Dakota. Laura is a teenager living on the family farm on
the prairie with her parents and three sisters. Life is hard and she goes into
teaching, but then falls in love with and marries a local boy and they too
set up home on a farm on the prairie. They endure the hardships of life on the
prairie, a diptheria epidemic and the death of their first child. Beyond the Prairie II: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder Continues: The hardships, adventures and romance of life on the prairie in 19th century South Dakota are recounted in this dramatic biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder. A continuation of the TV movie aired in 1999. Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman: The Movie: When Dr. Mike and Sully's daughter Katie is kidnapped, they and a group of townsfolk travel to Mexico to rescue her. Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman: The Heart Within: When Dr. Mike and Sully travel to Boston for Colleen's graduation from medical school, they find Dr. Mike's mother terminally ill. Sully finds himself a target for assassination by a corrupt politician. Snowy River: The McGregor Saga: Based on the poem 'Man From Snowy River' by Banjo Paterson. The series takes place years after the race in the poem and follows the lives of the McGregor Clan. A widowed father raising his three children, Colin (the town preacher), Rob and his daughter Danni (Daneilla). It takes place during the early 20th-century and the township of Paterson's Ridge in Australia's Snowy Mountains. This series was also known as: Banjo Paterson's - The Man From Snowy River. Bonanza: The Cartwrights' one-thousand-square-mile Ponderosa Ranch is located near Virginia City, Nevada, site of the Comstock Silver Lode, during and after the Civil War. Each of the three sons was born to a different wife of Ben's; none of the mothers are still alive. Adventures are typical Western ones, with lots of personal relationships/problems thrown in as well. Alias Smith and Jones: Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry, two of the most wanted outlaws in the history of the West, are popular 'with everyone except the railroads and the banks'.
