Synopsis:

A large spider from the jungles of South America is accidentally transported in a crate with a dead body to America where it mates with a local spider. Soon after, the residents of a small California town disappear as the result of spider bites from the deadly spider offspring. It's up to a couple of doctors with the help of an insect exterminator to annihilate these eight legged freaks.

A large spider from the jungles of South America is accidentally transported in a crate with a dead body to America where it mates with a local spider. Soon after, the residents of a small California town disappear as the result of spider bites from the deadly spider offspring. It's up to a couple of doctors with the help of an insect exterminator to annihilate these eight legged freaks before they take over the entire town.

Horror thriller. A photographer working with an explorer in Venezuela is bitten by a previously unknown breed of poisonous spider, and dies. His body is sent back to his home town, Canaima, but the spider has hitched a ride in the coffin, and escapes to the farm of a newly arrived doctor (who has a morbid fear of spiders) and his young family. The spider mates and soon an army of its offspring go off to inhabit the local area. Soon people are dying in mysterious circumstances, and nobody in power wants to believe the new doctor's suspicions as to the cause.
