Synopsis:
No french review yet:
The film is directed by Josetxo San Mateo and based on French film 'My Little Business'. In this movie, Imanol (Teo) owns a car shop in a Madrid neighbourhood; he is a man whose employees and friends care about, and who finds it difficult to run his business successfully. Teo's small world collapses when a fire sweeps through his shop, learning he is defenceless when he is deceived by an unscrupulous insurance broker. At first, desperate Teo considers selling his shop, but then a crazy idea comes to him: planning a robbery in the insurance company to distract the police's attention from his changing his insurance policy record in the firm's computers. Fun and realistic, 'La semana que viene (sin falta)' is above all an anti-globalisation metaphor, showing the difficulties skilled workers find when trying to survive in the economic system that is currently ruling our world.
