Synopsis:
No french review yet:
On May 11, 1904, Salvador Dali was born, in the shadow of his dead brother. As he took the place of the deceased, knowledge of the Other World awakens in his soul, and the 4th dimension becomes the dimension of his future paintings. As the years go by, Dali cultivates rebellion in his consciousness. He turns his emotions upside down and sees - from his own point of view - human societies imprisoned by the bonds of depressing daily routine and the establishment. Salvador Dali died from another heart attack on January 23, 1989, in a clinic in Figueres. The man who shocked the entire Western world with his lifestyle and his works; the man who truly experienced the secrets of both Hell and Heaven; the man who esoterically lived through time-space, and who was completely in possession of the multiple levels of the 4th dimension, was embalmed and - amid outpourings of sorrow and pain from his thousands of admirers - was buried under the dome of the Dali Theatre-Museum. Today and forever, Dali remains a vibrant symbol of Surrealism. His unique approach accompanies every restless artist, who conceals within him the flame of defying the establishment, to point out that the world is not always how we see it, and that nature reveals its secrets to us only when we have the courage and daring to raise the curtain of dreary everyday routine, and expose the hidden light of universal knowledge which is innate to our existence.
