Soundman is an expose action feature of Igby Walters, a sound recordist in Hollywood, unable to maintain his grasp on reality. This dark thriller, thematically similiar to FALLING DOWN, centers on his breakdown and the consequent inapropriate behavior of an underappreciated and misunderstood man, set against the backdrop of Tinseltown where imagination and reality is already blurred. Igby's lack of social skills does not stop him from doing whatever he feels is right, no matter the concequences. How far will he go?
