Synopsis:

In southern Spain, in a remote village that is still anchored in the past, Concha and her daughter Adela dream of a better life. Sick and tired of oppression and a cruel husband, Concha throws caution to the wind and flees to the city with her daughter. The escape will hurl them into an adventure in which they will try indefatigably to break free of the cages their lives have turned into.
