For some time now, there have been school classes in Germany whose aim is to ensure that no child is excluded. The children in such classes are as diverse as society itself. Everyone should be integrated with their small or large handicaps, whether highly gifted or severely disabled. "Class Life" tells the story of one such school, the Berlin Fläg School, its children and the tremendous challenge of learning. Director Hubertus Siegert takes part in the adventure of a school semester on an equal footing with the children. Successes and conflicts, fun and tears, wit and hardship, rivalries and friendships flash through the various stories, which together paint a moving picture of a complex and exciting universe of its own: class life.
