Synopsis:
No french review yet:
A Christmas Movie Christmas: Eve is a Christmas-movie fanatic and dreams of having a movie-perfect Christmas with a movie-perfect boyfriend. On Christmas Eve, when she and her cynical sister Lacy make wishes to Santa, they wake up in Christmas Town, trapped inside a Christmas movie where they are the stars. But when things start to go wrong, and Eve's knowledge of all things Christmas-movie fails to fix things, she and Lacy try to find a way out of the picture-perfect Christmas and back to reality. Rent-an-Elf: Ava, an entrepreneur, and single dad, Liam meet when he hires her holiday event planning business. She thinks there may be a future for the two of them and his young son, Nathan. That is, until Liam's ex-wife comes back hoping to reclaim her lost love. A Christmas for the Books: Suave Ted Domrose is frustrated that his lover Valerie broke up because she wants him to adhere blindly to the love manuals by lifestyle author Joanna Moret. The latter bids for a TV show contract from studio boss George MacAllen, who demands she comes decorate his home and meet his son Del, who would become he producer, with her perfect, alas imaginary boyfriend. So she promises to help Ted make up with Val if he plays her dream prince. Jealous Valerie arrives but finds him with her guru, so accepts to play Met's assistant. Gradually it dawn on them that Ted fits better with Joanna and Del with Val. Christmas in Pine Valley: Natalie (Kristina Cole) is the owner of a successful handmade soap company that garners the attention of a major magazine. The magazine sends a reporter named Josh (Andrew Biernat) to profile Natalie's company thinking it's a family-run business. Little does he know that Natalie's business is run by her with the help of longtime family friends, Mary (René Ashton), Carlos (Demi Castro), and Lisa (Amie Dasher). Knowing how much the article will help Mary hang on to her struggling Christmas tree farm, Natalie must convince Josh that her 'family' and Christmas traditions are all real. As Josh spends time around Natalie and her 'family' to write his story, Natalie narrowly avoids blowing her cover, especially when Lisa's friend, Dave (Marc Herrmann), arrives unannounced. Determined not to jeopardize the ruse, Lisa introduces Dave to Josh as Natalie's fiancé. Everyone struggles to keep up the façade of being a family-owned business, and matters only get more complicated when Josh uncovers the truth-just as he and Natalie are falling for each other. Angry about being lied to, Josh plans to leave the farm but, after seeing that Natalie's business really is a 'family' effort, decides to stay to be with Natalie and her so-called family.
