Synopsis:

Une association de malfaiteurs, dont le chef est Johnny Mellors, prépare depuis de longs mois un hold-up ayant pour objectif de s'emparer de la voiture transportant le salaire hebdomadaire d'une importante compagnie. Avec l'aide d'un petit employé, Dennis Pearson, Mellors a chronomètre le temps mis par la voiture pour transporter l'argent des salaires. Mais, contretemps imprévu, quelques jours avant l'exécution du complot, la compagnie met en service une nouvelle voiture, blindée cette fois. Devant les risques, les complices hésitent. Mais Mellors modifiera ses plans et, au jour dit, parviendra à défoncer la camionnette blindée.
