It was after his passing that the interest in the films of his contemporaries Bunuel, Bergman and compatriot Kurosawa resulted in a small tour of his films in the US and screenings at international film festivals ensuring that his films and style are recognised worldwide. This beautiful box set contains two of his masterpieces, 'Record Of A Tenement Gentleman' and 'Flavour Of Green Tea Over Rice'.
