From theimaginative stories by Ludwig Bemelman comes one of the most beloved characters in children's literature. Brimmed hat blue pinafore and white gloves her name is Madeline and these are some of her many spirited adventures. Madeline And The Gypsies nothing can get in the way of fun during a trip to the fair. But when Madeline and Pepito are left behind on the Ferris wheel it is up to the Gypsy Mama to step in and take care of the two adventurers. She invites them on the road to join her travelling circus and it is not long before danger catches up with them. Madeline's Rescue Madeline accidently falls into the Seine River and is rescued by a stray dog named Genevieve. She wants to return the favour and takes the dog back to the convent to look after it with her friends. But she forgets one of the rules of the convent: NO DOGS ALLOWED! Madeline In London The Spanish Ambassador moves to London with his family and celebratesPepito's birthday with a lavish party. Of course Madeline and the girls are invited to the festivities but it is not long before they find themselves in trouble - riding a horse in the Queen's Royal Procession. |
