Europe's most successful public cultural radio station is struggling. In a world dominated by social media, fake news and alternative facts, the Austrian broadcaster Ö1 is increasingly losing its audience. The film follows the passionate radio crew over a period of two years as they attempt to reinvent their program. Just as the station begins to regain listeners, the right-wing government starts to threaten its independence. A political reflection on quality journalism and a poetic hymn to radio itself.
