Be My Baby: Hunky divorce lawyer Jason Maxwell Davenport is frowned upon by colleagues because he often advices clients to reconsider filing and seek therapy or just patch up their marriage. He's puzzled when becoming the latest victim of Rylee, a bitter bachelor he picked up but was dumped by on their first night after she found a wedding ring in his wallet. She assumes him another adulterer, whom she can blackmail by pretending he sired 'her' child, actual a baby she picks up from her loose ma Doris's daycare center... Crystal River: Villagers Paul and Davie Nance would be perfectly happy, except for four consecutive miscarriages. She transfers her nursing side to Baptist parish volunteer work. Thus she cares for grumpy, sickly, infidel old neighbor, Olin Arrendal, better than the registered nurse. Grateful, he makes her meet his cheeky, stray-Methodist grandson Clay, who moved in to get to know his grandfather. Davie soon finds Clay's knavish charm irresistible, he's amused she 'stalks' him. Then things turn. Girl's Best Friend: A disgruntled music critic travels cross-country with her inheritance -- a Jack Russell Terrier named Binky. Tricks of Love: Dessi, a down and out young woman, is wasting her life away. One day a fashion photographer, Rex, notices her on an outing with his rival, Albert. Rex reluctantly accepts a bet that he can transform Dessi into a super-model. Dessi transforms herself from ugly duckling to swan -- only to learn she was the object of a bet.
