Synopsis:

Match Lawrence (Rob Lowe) es un hombre cuyos sueños están empezando a desvanecerse. Su única felicidad es su esposa que está embarazada. Uno de sus clientes, el escritor Lou Weber (Joe Mantenga) le ofrece una gran cantidad de dinero para que elimine a un traficante de drogas que le esta acosando, pero Match se niega. Días después, tras haberle sido diagnosticado un irreversible cáncer de estómago, decide aceptar la oferta de Webber para poder pagar su medicación y sacar su familia adelante. A partir de esto momento todo cambia, los dolores de estómago de Match desaparecen y el traficante que supuestamente ha asesinado reaparece. Los eventos se suceden intentando arrastrarle hacia una trampa mortal de la que intentará escapar.
