And it is also the ingredients from which great masterpieces and artistic innovations are created. Berlin 1911. Emil Nolde is new to Berlin artist circles. But the Secession, led by the influential painter prince Max Liebermann, did not like his style of painting, too colorful, too many wild faces. Emil Nolde foams.
