In this documentary we follow the development of the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the revolutionary fighter that appeared everywhere the Luftwaffe was active. The Bf 109 became the most built fighter of its time. After the war, the Spanish Air Force flew Bf 109s for many years, which ironically enough were equipped with the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine of its wartime nemesis, the Spitfire.
