Synopsis:
"The Guru (2002)

Ramu Gupta, a young Indian dance teacher with the best moves in Delhi embarks for New York City in pursuit of fame and fortune--only to wind up working as a waiter in an Indian restaurant. However, good fortune can arise from strange places; Ramu discovers this when a catering gig at a ditzy socialite's birthday party catapults him into an extravagant version of the American dream. Mistaken for a spiritual healer, Ramu becomes an overnight celebrity with the city's elite hanging on to his every word--no matter how absurd. The trouble is, he is also falling in love with Sharonna, an adult film star, who is the one woman who knows the real source of his seemingly profound insights. Ramu soon finds that he must choose between his newfound notoriety, and his love for a woman who accepts him as he is--unconditionally.

The MatchMaker (1997)

Marcy is an assistant to Senator John McGlory, who is having problems with a re-election campaign. Desperate for Irish votes, McGlory's chief of staff Nick sends Marcy to Ireland to trace McGlory's relatives or ancestors. Marcy arrives at the village of Ballinagra when it is preparing for an annual Matchmaking Festival. A well-dressed, handsome and single young lady, she becomes the center of attention for two professional matchmakers, Dermot and Millie, as well as for bartender Sean.

Mad About Mambo (2000)

In the upper-class section of Belfast, 18-year old Collegiates Private School student Lucy McLoughlin yearns to prove her worth to her entrepreneur father Sid, and to herself. Lucy lives to dance and dances to win: specifically, the Regional Latin Dance Finals. Her dance partner is her possessive boyfriend Oliver Parr, who's also captain of the Collegiates soccer team. Not far from Lucy's part of town, yet worlds apart, is St. Joseph's, a boy's school in working-class West Belfast. There, 18-year-old Danny Mitchell is the most eager player on the school's soccer team -- his dream is to play professionally for Belfast United. To be more like the newly imported Brazilian star player, Carlos Rega, and to improve his own game, Danny sets out to get rhythm by learning to dance Latin-style at the same dance studio that Lucy attends."
