Synopsis:
Romantic drama. In Michigan, USA, Ethel Ann buries her husband, Chuck, and starts drinking instead of grieving as her daughter Marie expects. On a hillside in Belfast, a young man, Jimmy, digs up an old gold ring inscribed with the names of Ethel and Teddy. When Jimmy tracks Ethel down to return the ring to her, unexpected consequences arise, causing Ethel's family and friends to re-evaluate her tangled romantic history.

In 1943, A dying gunner, who was in a crash involving a United States B-17, gives a ring to a local to return to his girlfriend in the USA. Fifty years later, a man finds the ring and tracks down the girlfriend and the history of this ring. Set in Belfast and North Carolina.
