Synopsis:

Swiss filmmaker Thomas Haemmerli constructs a quirky eulogy for his late mother with this documentary that follows the director and his brother as they dig through seven decades of junk she collected in her house. Amidst the mountains of refuse that eventually fill the trash receptacles of the title, Haemmerli finds countless relics if his mother's past that all piece together to tell a one-of-a-kind life story. Originally titled Sieben Mulden und eine Leiche, Seven Dumpsters and a Corpse screened at the 2007 Hot Docs Film Festival.
