Synopsis:

An empty highway extends out as far as the eye can see in the middle of a quiet and barren landscape. Built many years ago it has remained unused and is slowly decaying. Just a few meters from the fencing where the tarmac is shot through with green, stands a lonely house with a little garden. In this house lives a family. Then summer begins, and work starts again: the highway is to be put into use.

Drama centred around a family who live in a house which is situated only a few metres away from a motorway which is due to be opened. When it does open, the effect of the noise and pollution takes its toll on the family members who become increasingly isolated and unbalanced.

Centers on a family who refuses to leave their country home to make way for the construction of a new road. Gradually cut off and disconnected from the world, they end up shutting themselves in.
