China China (2007)
China walks down the steps towards Martim Moniz, in Lisbon. As she passes, children shout, "China! China!" China will fly. Fly away by dawn. All she wants is to be happy. But she drinks her own poison. She drinks it to the last drop. Sometimes the air seems to be heavy with evil and purgatory is but a child's playground.

Luminous People (2007)
A group of people is in a boat traveling along Mekong River that stretches along the Thai-Laos border. They are running against the wind, anticipating a farewell. In the middle of the river, the lady head of the family casts the ashes off into the stream.

Majorettes (2005)
A three-part tale about teenagers and majorettes. A boy fantasizes about a girl, a girl would like to be more cool and another girl uses her uniform to flirt.

Cosmetic Emergency (2005)
The film explores the idea of beauty through a collage of live action and lyrical animations. A free-form take on the current trend of cosmetic obsession and the immortal quality of painting, the film searches for 'what's on the inside'. New Zealand's Hip-Hop artist, 'Coco Solid' and 'Half Japanese' founder Jad Fair, among others, wrote and recorded humorously cynical songs about the cosmetic craze.

Shadows of Silence (2010)
Nightmares and realities of a depressed person who is in exile.

By the Kiss (2006)
Night. Kisses. A consumed heart.

Bugcrush (2006)
Ben, a small town high school loner, is fascinated by Grant, a dangerously seductive new kid. It leads to a sinister rite of passage experience.

A bras le corps (2005)
Two children get up to go to school. As they do every morning, they invent games, perpetuating their rituals of cruelty and complicity. But this morning, something has changed.

Vinil Verde (2005)
Mother gives Daughter a box with old little colored records, with children's songs. The girl may listen to the records, but never to the green one.

Tarrafal (2007)
Tarrafal: territory on the island of Santiago in Cape Verde where, in 1936, Portugal created a concentration camp for political prisoners. This colony was known as the 'camp of slow death.'

The Heart of the World (2001)
A state scientist, Anna, discovers that the heart of the world is about to break.

Mary Last Seen (2010)
A young woman embarks on a road trip with her boyfriend to a place he promises to be beautiful and peaceful. But a series of strange events occur on their journey, and it becomes clear that their relationship is not what she thinks and their destination is not what was promised.

Le Mur (2000)
The brief and unending story of a wall and its encounters with man.

Killing the chickens to Scare the Monkeys (2011)
Killing the Chickens to Scare the Monkeys tells a unique story from every day China, never seen before. In the greyish area between black and white, nine strong scenes are enacted, where national politics and strategy are having unforeseen consequences in a young woman's life.
