Synopsis:

More than a documentary film this is a serene and intimate portrait of an artist as seen through the eyes of another artist. Manuel Huerga (Salvador - Un Certain Regard, Cannes 2006) followed the musician Jorge Drexler (who won an Oscar ® for Best Song for The Other Side of the River Motorcycle Diaries, 2004) during his eight-day tour of Catalonia in November 2007. The result is a simple but powerful testimony to the complexities of the musician's creative process. The film portrays the meticulous preparations of Drexler and his team before going on stage, his spontaneity and generosity in sharing the stage with other musicians, and total dedication to his audience, celebrated in a beautiful ceremony.

An intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the musician Jorge Drexler through the camera lens of director Manuel Huerga. The result is a simple yet striking portrait of the musician's creative process behind closed doors. The film records Drexler and his team's meticulous preparation before going out on stage, his spontaneity and generosity as he shares the stage with other musicians as well as witnessing the audience's reaction to the performances.
