Naiade (2008)
Ava rules over a swamp where fairy creatures live. A strange boy secretly observes her flourishing kingdom, trying to figure out a way to save the life of his sick twin brother.

Retouches (2008)
The film shows the work of the artist, playing with and creating action. It's an attempt to show us the process: the movement as well as the artist in the act of creating that movement.

Aubade (2007)
Dark movie, but thematically it is optimistic in a whimsical kind of way. Man finds bird dying, deceased, dead. Definitely dead.

Chainsaw (2007)
Dennis Tupicoff's Chainsaw, as you might have guessed, uses the titular tool as a framing device for his narrative, which starts and ends with lumberjack Frank leveling trees and bringing destruction to everything around him.

For Sock's Sake (2008)
For Sock's Sake (or via Daily Motion) takes your average washing line community and subjects some of the inhabitants to a range of cruel and unnecessarily harsh tortures.

Blind Spot (2007)
A robber enters a small convenience shop to perform a hold-up. An old grandmother with bad eyesight is doing her shopping. Suddenly, things go horribly wrong.

Raging Blues (2004)
A short film by Vincent Paronnaud taken from the Persepolis DVD. Paronnaud was instrumental in helping Marjane Satrapi translate her graphic novel Persepolis to the big screen, giving it an added depth and atmosphere with his grey tones and textures.

A Backbone Tale (2004)
In the eternal race to find love and happiness, some unfortunate souls start with a handicap. It is the case of the man we join as we start jump into Une Histoire Vertebrale (A Backbone Tale), a short animated movie by Jérémy Clapin, produced by Strapontin.

Un Jour: A Woman's Metaphorical Narrative (1998)
One day, a man entered my belly. The next day, since he was still there, I realized that I would have to get used to him. That is the subtitled English text that begins Marie Paccou's short film, Un Jour. There's nothing like grabbing your attention right at the start! As the camera trucks out, sure enough, there is a short little guy sticking out of the lady's stomach with his legs and feet protruding from her back. The woman does get used to her visitor, and so begins this film about their relationship
