Synopsis:

A Norwegian parody of Kill Bill: Jompa Tormann and his guests and family are brutally gunned down during an engagement party. Sami- and women-hating police officer Sid Wisløff is put on the case. Together with his colleague Unni Formen and Sami guide Peggy Mathilassi, Wisløff tries to find the guilty party, but Jompa Tormann survived and he wants revenge!

Reluctantly Jompa Torman wants to get married. Families are gathered for the traditional day when suddenly all hell breaks loose. The Deadly Sapmi Assassination Squad, i.e. Tampa Buljo, Crazy Beibifeit, Dr. Kjell Driver and Bud Light, storm into the occasion, draw their arms and mow down the group. With nothing left to do, Jompa abandons the house and fights for his life.

Best-performing local film on the Norwegian charts is currently Tommy Wirkola's Kill Buljo The Movie, a NOK 890,000 Tarantino spoof. What started as a joke 'Wouldn't it be fun to make a north Norwegian Tarantino spoof of Kill Bill?' ended on 60,000 admissions on the Norwegian charts. Two friends, Tommy Wirkola and Stig Frode Henriksen, visited the local videoshop Bobbo in Alta and talked about the idea, which they realised in a day, adding half an hour for editing. Kill Buljo The Movie was screened at Alta Kino and distributed on the web. When it had registered 10,000 downloads, they decided to make a sequel, which reached 300,000. Then came the movie. Wirkola, Henriksen and Magne Ek instigated Yellow Bastard Production, which started shooting in April 2006, when they had completed half of the NOK 800,000 budget. In the end they went NOK 90,000 over. Wirkola met most of the 12 members of the crew when he went to film school in Australia. The film is the story of a Sami, Jompa Torman, celebrating his upcoming marriage, when the Deadly Sapmi Assassination Squad storms in and kills everybody. However, Torman survives, and he wants revenge; police wants Torman, whom they think planned the massacre.
